Clos Vieux Taillefer 2019, Pomerol
Clos Vieux Taillefer was originally a plot of vines purchased in 1875 by the Robin family. In August 2008, Nicolas and Alexandra Robin bought it from their grandfather Frances Robin.
Respect for the terroir and the grapes are the key words of this truly tailor-made work. The ideal balance between delicacy and power of the great Pomerol wines. The whole has been expertly managed by oenologist Stéphane Derenoncourt since 2009.
Since October 2011, the property has been involved in the Environmental Management System through the Bordeaux Wine Interprofessional Council.
Showing classic Pomerol characters of suppleness and rounded black fruit flavours, this a smooth, full-bodied wine with gentle supporting tannins and soft spice and cinnamon notes on the palate.
