DELIVERY TERMS (In all instances, cases may be mixed)
FREE DELIVERY FOR ALL ORDERS OVER: £280 or more in value (inc. VAT) FOR ORDERS WITH A VALUE LESS THAN £280 (inc. VAT):
The delivery charges are £9.85 (inc.VAT) for the first case and £4.90 (inc.VAT) per subsequent case. In some instances delivery to certain areas cannot be effected by our regular transporters. Orders are accepted for delivery on Mondays to Fridays between 8.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. Multiple deliveries will incur delivery charges per delivery address. In some instances, delivery to certain areas cannot be effected by our regular transporters. We reserve the right to raise a charge for the cost of delivery to such areas regardless of the quantity ordered. Of course, any order that might incur such a charge will be notified to the customer before any delivery is effected. We regret that we are unable to guarantee delivery at a specific time of day - although we will try our very best to accommodate your needs. Please could you try and give our order office plenty of notice of specific requirements. Scotland: Deliveries to the following postcodes may incur added costs. AB,FK, HS, IV, KW, PA, PH and ZE. Please check with us directly for delivery quotes:. Northern Ireland: Deliveries will incur extra costs: Minimum drop £26.55 ex VAT for carriage. We would like all our customers to note the following so that they may fully benefit from our delivery service:
1.We operate regular weekly deliveries in the areas listed in our delivery tables. Wherever possible, throughout the West Country, we deliver using our own vans. Areas or towns that fall outside our normal delivery areas covered by our own vans will have deliveries carried out by a privately run carrier who we regularly use. In certain instances, we reserve the right to deliver by carrier within our own delivery area and, where this is necessary, we will inform customers in advance.
2.Please note your delivery day and the deadline for receiving your order. Please ensure that your order reaches us not later that 12 noon on your order day as orders received later than this cannot be guaranteed for delivery on the following day. If you are on our regular ring round service, we will assume that you do not need an order if we have not heard from you by 1.00pm
3.Alterations to our regular weekly schedules are rare but, in the case of Bank Holidays, Christmas and Easter, delivery time-tabling is bound to change. We always notify our customers of this in advance.
4.We would ask all our customers to remember to sign the delivery note or invoice on receipt of the goods. Claims cannot be entertained without a properly signed delivery note, signed by somebody who has the authority to sign. Please print your name clearly on the delivery note, below your signature.
5.In the unlikely event of a delivery taking place when nobody is at home, and the delivery has to be postponed, we reserve the right to raise a carriage charge. We will leave goods at a customer's premises, if no one is present, providing that this has been agreed in advance, and in writing, and on the understanding that the customer takes full responsibility for the goods as soon as they have been delivered to the premises.
