Description

Fascinating, barrel-fermented dry Vouvray. Made from 100% Chenin Blanc and aged on its lees for 6 months, it balances an elegant maturity with a lovely freshness. The vibrant palate shows white-fleshed fruit with delicate notes of almond and hazelnut.

Perfect with white fish, seafood and goats cheeses.

Domaine des Aubuisieres have 65 acres of top-class Chenin Blanc planted on some of the best soils in Vouvray. It is regarded today as one of the top three producers in the entire region, renowned for capturing the minerality produced by the famous tufa (chalk) and silex (flint) soils which Vouvray is world famous for. Many of these vines are 55+ years old and produce magnificent grapes, full of nuance and complexity.
