Domaine Mandard - Mareuil-sur-Cher

In 1993, Jean-Christophe decided to take over the family domaine where he has now been joined by his son Jean-Baptiste who has returned to the Domaine after working in Bordeaux and the Rhône. The Mandard estate is located in the heart of the Loire Valley châteaux region, between Chambord and Chenonceau and comprises 27 hectares of vineyards. The vines are planted on the left bank of the Cher river, with two types of terroir: flint clay (les Perruches) and derivatives of flint clay, rich in silt (les Bournais) The wines are fermented and aged in stainless steel.
