This is 100% Gamay and most of the vineyard is made up of old vines (80 to 100 years old), trained according to the traditional low gobelet technique. Managed without the use of weed killers, its top soil is tilled 3 or 4 times.?ÿ
It is rich and well-structured, with soft and rounded delicate tannins and the dense juiciness of the fruit gives a wonderfully long length.
The soil is very eroded granite, 'Saprolite' hence the name.?ÿ
