Domaine Roger Sabon

Founded in 1952 by Roger Sabon, this formidable estate remains in the family and now comprises 50 hectares on both sides of the Rhône. 18 hectares of Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyards on the left bank of the River, spread over 14 different plots and on the right bank, the vineyards include 12 hectares in the Lirac appellation and 6 hectares of Côtes-du-Rhône.

The wine-making at this family estate has been in the talented hands of Didier Negron (whose wife is a Sabon) since 2004. Denis Sabon and his son Julien are in charge of the vineyards and Gilbert Sabon looks after the administration. They make a lovely family and the wines go from strength to strength.

Robert Parker has been a regular visitor and customer for over 20 years.
