Description

As is traditional for Cerro Anon Reserva, the selection of individual vats for the final blend was carried out with classic Rioja taste in mind. The wine is fermented at a controlled temperature of around 30degC. with medium maceration and then spends 20 months in barrel. At this point in its development it is at its optimum for taste but will continue to develop in the bottle as it ages.

GRAPE VARIETIES
Tempranillo 80%, Garnacha 5%, Mazuelo and Graciano 15%.

TASTING NOTES
Cherry red with ruby highlights in the glass. Complex and fine aromas on the nose with red fruit and vanilla in balance. The palate is round and well structured, the result of its long ageing in bottle.

Bodegas Olarra is located on the outskirts of Logrono, in the heart of the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin and within the highly regarded sub-area of Rioja Alta.
Since its establishment in 1973, Olarra has been noted for the beauty and complexity of its unique premises thanks to its Y-shaped ground plan and its 111 hexagonal domes. Bodegas Olarra is commonly known as the Cathedral of Rioja.
This winery tastefully merges cutting edge wine-related technologies with the traditional winemaking methods of La Rioja, and as a result, it creates wines within the strictest parameters of quality.

Olarra are strong believers of the theory that to make a great wine it is most important to take perfect care of the grapes and use a thorough attention-to-detail approach. In the making of its wines, Bodegas Olarra only uses grapes that meet their series of strict criteria.
