Bianco Terre Siciliane 2022 Vezzani
Remarkable value for money. A dry, crisp and peachy white with apple blossom aromas and a mouthfilling palate.
Francesco Rocca began producing Vezzani wines in the south of Italy in the 19th century. Four generations later, Ernesto Rocca and his three sons produce traditional and drinkable wines all over the country.
Sicilian wines have changed and progressed over the last thirty years with the island's wine makers growing in confidence with the realisation of the quality of their raw materials - soil, climate and grapes. The wines coming out of Sicilty have such quality that they are surely ones to look out for, now and in the future.
This blend of 50% Cataratto and 50% Grecanico grown in vineyards in Palermo and Trapani is an excellent introduction to the ripe, sunny whites of the island. (12% abv)
