Description

Kept in barriques for 10 years this is bottled unfiltered and is a rich golden colour with a nose of spicy vanilla and warm gingerbread. On the palate flavours of pear and smoky wood filter through. Perfect with a coffee and/or a cigar.

It is impossible to mention Chateauneuf du Pape without mentioning the Domaine Vieux Telegraph. The Brunier family who are the owners of the domaine have made wine on this site for at least a century and they regard Vieux Telegraph as the lynch pin of their entire operations and they no longer just refer only Vieux Telegraphe but all the Brunier establishments. They collaborate with the Ghosns in Lebanon to produce Massaya, they make Gigondas in the Pallieres vineyards on the Rhone and also have a second domaine in Chateaneuf du Pape and they put the same drive and know how into each property.
