He was also blessed with 30-60 year old Syrah which he purchased from his famous uncle, Robert Michel, who is regarded as one of the finest growers in southern France. After working at the former J.L. Grippat estate and with Laurent Courbis, Vincent established his own domaine in 1997. Vincent worked closely with his uncle Robert for his first couple of vintages before breaking out on his own.
