Lyrarakis 'Queen' Vilana - a classic of the vineyards of Crete. Citrus-fruit and flower aromas, herbal notes, soft creamy body with vibrant acidity.

Lawson's Dry Hills Gewurztraminer - tired of the ubiquitous Marlborough Sauvignon? Try this lush, exotic delight - New Zealand aromatics at their most attractive!

Chateau de Vaux Beaujolais-Villages Blanc - only a tiny proportion of wine produced in Beaujolais is white - dive into this unusual and rewarding 'skin-contact' Chardonnay, packed with plump peachy goodness.

'Serbal' Cabernet Franc - traditionally a staple of Loire reds and Bordeaux blends, this often overlooked variety is making a name for itself in the vineyards of Mendoza, Argentina where its producing appealing fruit-laden wines.

'Clavis Aurea' Tejo Reserva - a gloriously rich and sumptuous red from Portugal, just NE of Lisbon. Made from the traditional Port grape varieties with just a splash of spicy Syrah, this is truly a hidden gem - and at a ludicrously reasonable price!

Withington Malbec - this supple and aromatic single-vineyard offering from Darling will leave you wondering why on earth we don't see more Malbec coming out of South Africa: brooding dark berry fruit with a lovely soft texture. Delicious.
