Description

Finca Los Inicios - Uco Valley, Mendoza

This captivating white wine is testament to just how far Argentina has come in recent years when it comes to producing superb, world class dry whites. A blend of 65% Semillon and 35% Sauvignon Blanc from Vista Flores and Tupungato in the Uco Valley – White Bordeaux more than meets its match here. The nose is delicate with notes of citrus fruits and minerals; the palate is somehow both lean and luxurious at the same time with fantastic texture and weight.

VEGAN

Fermented in small concrete tanks with perfect natural temperature control. The varietals are fermented separately and once blended, the wine rests for six months on fine lees with regular bâttonage, providing texture, volume and complexity, and not an oak barrel in sight. This wine will greatly reward those who have the patience to keep in for 5 – 10 years in bottle, but it is an utter joy to drink when young.
