Description

Opulent white Bordeaux from one of the most highly regarded producers in Pessac-Léognan. A 70/30 blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, this wine is layered and complex with aromas of ripe citrus and stone fruits coupled with subtle notes of vanilla and fresh pastries from the well-integrated oak.

Château Lamothe-Bouscaut, located 200 metres from Château Bouscaut, appeared as a vineyard on Belleyme’s map in the 18th century under the name Château Lamothe. The name was later changed to include the place name “Bouscaut” in 1881. The current Château is built on an old fortress from the 12th century. In 1969, the vineyards were leased to the Cru Classé de Graves Château Bouscaut, which acquired them in 1999.
