Description

We are delighted to stock this white premier cru from Beaune. Under a gold-green veil, it is perfumed with honeysuckle and lime-blossom. Its oily texture coats the tongue with a balanced taste suggesting ripe, yellow fruit. With an almost tropical lingering mouthfeel this really is a beautifully made ripe Burgundy, made for enjoyment.

Francoise Andre together with her daughter-in-law, Lauriane, are making impressive red and white Burgundies to rival any of the young talent now appearing in this region of France. Michel (Francoise's husband) and their sons Frederic, Rodolphe and Thierry, behind the scenes, tend to the vineyard.

In 2009, the Andre family associated the first name of its owner with the Domaine des Terregelesses, founded in 1983. The estate's vineyards span over 7.5 hectares in the northerly Cote de Beaune, home of the famous Corton hill.
