Description

This Chambolle-Musigny has an intense, rich and deep colour but has not been over-extracted as there is an alluring fresh black cherry fruitiness balanced with a fine acidity and delightful silkiness. Since the 2002 vintage, none of the wines have been filtered.

2020 - 13.5% abv

This gem of a domaine is situated in the heart of the village of Chambolle. Joes Hudelot's son-in-law, Dominique le Guen (an ex-French air force engineer) is in charge of the wine-making here and has lifted the estate's reputation into the first division. They are strong believers in following an eco-friendly viticultural route and have been very successful in redeveloping the micro-organic structure of the soil. Working with sensibly low yields and meticulous attention to detail in the chais, has resulted in some superb wines.
