Description

Named as a tribute to the Spanish author, Emilia Pardo Bazan, of the famous Galician novel of the same name, Pazos de Ulloa is a lovely fragrant, light and bright wine, made from a blend of indigenous Ribeiro grapes sourced from independent producers. The nose is dominated by citrus notes with delicate aromas of melon, lemon and red apple. It is well balanced and refreshing - delicious on its own or paired with sea food, shellfish and Galician cheeses.

Grape varieties: A blend including Treixadura and Palomino.

The vineyards are located in the Ribeiro region, in a valley formed by Miño river and its tributaries, Avia and Arnoia, surrounding the medieval village of Ribadavia. The south-facing granite soils are arranged in costeiras, the name historically given to the best hillsides exposed to the sun, where the best grapes are cultivated.
