These are wines of great precision and freshness, with a wonderful purity. Xaviers reds from the Cote de Nuits surpass many Nuits St. Georges and are phenomenal value. The top-end Aloxe-Corton, les Boutieres is from 40 year-old vines, planted just about a frogs jump below the village?s Premier Cru vineyards.
