La Geynale, named after ‘Genêt’, a small bush plant, is a single parcel of old vines between 80-100 years old. Exceptionally fresh, balanced with both a silky texture and grippy tannins, this will age beautifully.

This vintage has a black color and a nose of great complexity. There are black fruits and spices.

On the palate we find the richness of black fruits enhanced with this minerality which gives the wine a magical balance. The wine is dense, rich, powerful, complex while remaining fresh and the tannins, still present, are perfectly in harmony.

A wine with a unique character, of great complexity, with a strong tannic but silky presence, powerful and suave aromas (cooked fruits, spices, roasting)   and a length in the mouth that never ends.
