Bivio Pinot Grigio 2020
“An elegant and lively bouquet with structured notes of pear, exotic fruit and crisp acidity. Finishes with gorgeous minerality." - Marco Galeazzo, Winemaker
Tastes of ripe Conference pear, green apple (Golden Delicious but not the watery types that you get in supermarkets!) and a delicate hint of ginger on the finish.
The grapes are grown in two areas of Italy's northernmost region. One vineyard is in the Rotaliano plain, a remarkably cool and airy region in the north of the Veneto as it gradually climbs in altitude towards the Dolomites. The other is a very high quality vineyard in the Alpine foothills of Collio, Fruili near the Italian/Slovenian border. This combination of vineyards creates ideal conditions for a crisp white wine that combines bright acidity, fresh aromas and a good weight of fruit.
