With English wines no longer just being ‘start-up’ experiments but mainstream wine producers, they are now seriously challenging some of their ‘over-the-seas’ counterparts. As you would expect, we source the majority of our English wines from the county of Devon but we have strayed into the chalk downs of Hampshire to find a remarkable classic English sparkling wine from Chalkdown, near Andover. Our Devon wines come from three of our famous river valleys, the Teign, the Dart and the Axe.
