Description

Benromach Organic is the first Soil Association certified Organic single malt whisky and has enjoyed maturation in new oak, though this is a well-oaked dram, there is plenty of toffee and spice. It is a Speyside malt and on the nose there are notes of wood, spice and caramel with some malt and resin in the mix. The palate is quite oily with oak and also sweet toffee and an appreciable amount of fruit evident balanced with toasty spice. It is quite fresh on the finish with wood shaving overtones.
