Description

The nose provides a beautiful balance between freshness with crushed violets and lavender and deeper elements of blackcurrants, licorice and elderberries. Tea leaves and charcoal, too. Full body, really refined and structured tannins and a long finish.

The grapes are hand-picked and selected on a doublesorting table. The whole grapes fall into tanks below by forceof gravity. All the varieties were produced separately.Fermentation and maceration occurred in stainless steeltanks for about 20-25 days at a controlled temperature notabove 28ËšC. The wine was then put into 225-liter barrelsmade of French oak; here the malolactic fermentation wascompleted. The aging process lasted 12 months in oakbarrels and at least another 10 months in bottles.
