Description

Six delicious wines chosen by the CPW Team, perfect for Summer and including Chris Piper's Brouilly Creigne which is drinking exceptionally well at the moment.

Muscadet Bretonniere is a surprisingly rich and fruity Loire white with hyper-fresh floral aromas and the Cava Rosado is a gorgeous glass (or two) of pink summer berry fruitiness with a frothy redcurrant mousse, delicious. Mount Vernon Sauvignon is a new wine to CPW, full of tropical fruitiness and a classic herbiness on the palate. Brouilly Creigne is deep-coloured, fleshy and unctuous, with fine tannins and a distinctive black fruit overlay, finishing with a zippy, refreshing acidity. Beret Noir has a plump, dark cherry character with sweet spice and blackberry length. Finally the Minervois Rose is a pale rose full of spangly strawberry fruits.

Muscadet Domaine de la Bretonniere, Le Landreau, Loire, France

Cava Brut Rosado, Masia Parera, Catalonia, Penedes, Spain

Mount Vernon Sauvignon Blanc, Lawson's Dry Hills, Marlborough, New Zealand

Brouilly Creigne, Chateau de Vaux, Beaujolais, France

Beret Noir St Mont AOP, Producteurs de Plaimont, South West France

Minervois Rose, Chateau d'Oupia, Languedoc, France
