Description

Sichel Sauternes, crafted by one of the most prestigious classified growths of the appellation, enjoys the same meticulous, very special care that goes into producing the top botrytised wines of this renowned appellation. Here, the Semillon and Sauvignon combine harmoniously to offer a highly expressive bouquet of citrus notes and jammy fruit with a hint of honey. Over an ample, richly extracted base, the palate displays a many-layered, persistent aromatic array of orange marmalade and dried fig notes. Drink very chilled, with a seasonal fruit salad or blue cheese, for example.
Ageing: 8 to 12 years.
Blend: 80% Semillon - 20% Sauvignon Blanc
