Description

We all have our traditions at Christmas, and for wine-lovers, they often include an offering from those most traditional of wine regions, Bordeaux and Burgundy. We've ferreted out a selection of rewarding reds and whites from our cellars, some better known than others and all ready for drinking and enjoying from the get-go...

Case includes 1 bottle each of the following wines*, plus Free Delivery (Mainland UK):

Chateau Carbon d'Artigues Graves Blanc - seductive Semillon Sauvignon blend, packed with vibrant fresh fruit with a lovely satiny texture.

Chateau de Vaux Bourgogne Blanc - we're delighted with this new arrival from talented Beaujolais-based winemaker Yannick de Vermont. Plump ripe fruit and succulent acidity.

Cote de Nuits-Villages Blanc - Xavier Durand's masterful touch shows in this glorious white Cote de Nuits: rich, toasty, buttery citrus fruit.

Monthelie 'Cuvee Paul' - Larger than life Burgundian, Paul Garaudet's eponymous Monthelie is a silky, supple, cherry-scented joy.

Haut-Medoc de Giscours - third wine of 3eme cru classe Margaux estate, Chateau Giscours. Rich plums and blackberries with smoky spice.

Chateau Argadens Bordeaux Superieur - thoroughly modern Bordeaux with lots of concentrated fruit and an attractive, supple balance.

* in the event that any of the wines mentioned/pictured become unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute with a wine of similar style and equal or better value.
