Description

Predominately Chardonnay and based on the 2020 vintage, this wine reflects the welcome warmth of that year's turbulent summer while expressing the character we look for in Corallian - focus, salinity and elegance. The nose has wild notes of gorse and seabuckthorn with apricot tart and candied orange, while the ripe palate is full bodied, with hints of alphonso mango, perfumed quince, cedar and lemon peel.

Langham hand-harvest their grapes into small crates, then gently press in a three tonne pneumatic press. The press fractions are separated then allowed to settle overnight, before racking into used oak barrels & stainless steel tanks where spontaneous, wild yeast fermentation commences. Malolactic fermentation follows, during an eight to nine month long elevage.
ABV 12%,
