Invoicing & Trade Sales Support
Well, as you have probably guessed, I am the office newbie, having only been here for just a few months. My role is invoicing orders and preparation of wine lists, I will be getting involved with the meeting and greetings in the shop itself and also with the order taking once my knowledge is up to speed. At the moment my knowledge of wine compared to everyone else who works here is a bare minimum to say the least, although action is in place to change this and with so many wine heads in the building hopefully something will sink in! And what a better way to learn about the wines than to drink them!
My previous employment consisted of office based roles within various firms and alongside this in the evenings and weekends I have worked in various pubs and restaurants. A few years ago I went travelling around Australia which was an unforgettable experience which I thoroughly enjoyed doing and learnt a lot from. I am also a member of the local Honiton Young Farmers Club and at the moment I am a part of the girl's tug of war team competing around different counties putting ourselves through lots of pain just for the hell of it!
