Thought you might like to see the tasting note that Jancis Robinson has just written following her tasting of over 150 2009 Beaujolais Crus and Villages wines. 17 points is one of the highest scores! This will be available in the autumn.

Utterly lip smacking. This delightfully splits the difference between the lighter examples of Beaujolais-Villages and the more serious Crus wines. Firm and mineral-scented, this has succulent fully ripe Gamay fruit that spreads convincingly right across the palate. Makes you want to sing. Very Good Value.
