Cantine del Taburno - BENEVENTO The Cantina del Taburno is situated in the foothills of the mountains of Taburno, and is owned by the Agrarian Co co-operative of Benevento. The estate was founded in 1901 but became part of the cooperative in 1972. The philosophy of the estate is to produce the finest wines from local grape varieties that are true to the traditions of the region. The estate has approx. 500 hectares spread across a number of villages and today fruit from 300 growers all paid to produce quality rather than quantity.
