Cellar & Deliveries
Before joining CPW, I spent ten years getting up at the ridiculous hour of 3 am to jump into my electric float and go out delivering milk. The time came when I decided to trade up from electric to diesel and from gold and silver top to Merlot and Chablis (and a more civilised starting time).
One of my key roles at CPW has been to cover the regular drivers during holidays and, by doing so, it means that not only do I go to a lot if different places but I also get to meet nearly all of our customers. I am probably the only person in the company who sees almost everyone from Penzance to Gloucester!
When not at work, I keep busy on the allotment I rent and, although I am by no means an expert, I do enough to keep me fed throughout the year. I have also been a member of the St John's Ambulance for many years which I know is a comfort to my colleagues who know they can rely on my sympathetic care should they have a problem!! Well, I'll put a plaster on them!
When I feel that I have done enough of the above, I take to the road and go running and have now competed in three full and several half marathons. | |
