| Welcomed at the door by Robin Rea with a warm cup of coffee we are sure this new and exciting addition to Ottery will do extremely well. Robin, in between working at Rusty Pig is the Senior Chef at River Cottage Farm and amazingly has time to run a small holding near Honiton, rearing his own pigs (Oxford Sandy & Black breed) and growing his own fruit and vegetables.|
The idea is to sit at his rustic and friendly table in his shop, have a coffee and peruse the items of pork available. Home made faggots, charcuterie, terrines, patés, belly pork, wild garlic & fennel seed sausages, to mention just a few. All made from his own reared pigs and those from Riverwood Farm (Oxford/Tamworth/Gloucester breeds).
Robin, on Saturdays from 2nd June, will be turning his table into an exclusive dining experience. This will include canapés, a 4 course meal, (charcuterie, fish, pork dish), coffee & petit fours. The focus being on strictly seasonal produce.
