Super zippy lime fruit flavours leap out of the glass. Great balance and a fabulous clean finish.

Perfect for drinking immediately, this Riesling will continue to reward for the next 2 to 3 years.

Grapes from two separate vineyards within Marlborough were chosen specifically for this wine, including Saint Clair’s own vineyard at Doctor’s Creek. The components complement each other and add to the completeness of this Riesling. The grapes were picked in the coolest part of the day at the peak of flavour development and each component was tank fermented separately at cool temperatures with selected yeasts so as to retain freshness and intensity of fruit flavour. After fermentation each batch was assessed for quality before being selected for the final blend and the resulting wine was balanced, stabilised and prepared for bottling under screwcap.

Bright citrus aromas of lime and mandarin leap from the glass with subtle hints of honeysuckle and apricot to give a complete, complex nose. This light-bodied, easy drinking wine shows distinct Riesling characters of ripe limes and grapefruit on the palate. The wine has a distinct mineral note and good fruit weight which follows through with well balanced acidity and a round smooth pleasing finish.
