Cellar/Logistics Manager
I joined Christopher Piper Wines in the summer of 1988 after spending some exciting but not very interesting times in the plant hire and electrical industries and became warehouse manager in 1994. Prior to this my only wine knowledge concerned the Blue Nun my mother favoured and an area of France called Beaujolais that involved fast cars in November.
What a shock I was in for.
Back then I was interested in riding motorcycles and flying aeroplanes, however the intervening years of marriage, mortgage and fatherhood mean these days I hear motorcycles go by and I look up at aeroplanes flying past.
Nowadays I've developed a growing interest in astronomy and, heaven help me, gardening, much to the amusement of my children.
