Deputy Cellar Manager
Before joining Christopher Piper Wines, I spent 18 years in the Royal Marines' Band Service, visiting various countries at the government's expense before serving aboard the Cunard liner 'Canberra' as a stretcher bearer during the Falklands war.
As Deputy Warehouse Manager at CPW my job covers all aspects within the warehouse from goods in, goods out, packing and trouble shooting with a few deliveries thrown in for good measure. I joined CPW in 1994 and enjoy the job 90% of the time. The other 10% is helped by the Pethadine! I have learnt a lot about wine, especially how to pronounce some of them!
