A sizzling Sicilian Red! Aromas of ripe blackberry and cherry lead to a medium to full-bodied palate, which is modern, fresh and fruity with a hint of spice.

Nero d'Avola is literally 'the black grape of Avola' and is Sicily's premier native grape. Doricum Nero d'Avola is made from grapes cultivated in the Salemi area, close to Trapani in the western part of Sicily. The grapes were harvested in early October.

Traditional red wine vinification. Long and slow fermentation in stainless steel. The wine is refined for 3 to 4 months in bottle before being released to market.
