A wonderfully rich and ripe white with a classic minerality and a well balanced freshness.

The wines from La Giustiniana continue to improve with each new vintage. The changes wrought in the winery several years ago are now being matched with the improvements being made in the vineyard, where better grapes are giving richer, purer and better balanced wines. They are now making Gavi of a remarkable character and originality.

Donato Lanati, one of Italy's best young consultants began working with La Giustiniana at the beginning of 1998. His indelible stamp of quality has become increasingly eveident in the intervening years.

The Lugarara is a single vineyard with a quite sandy soil which produces a wine that's open with a good richness of fruit and well balanced acidity. It is expressive and very approachable.
