The grape of Rueda in northern Spain which is sometimes blended with Sauvignon Blanc which has been vying, unsuccessfully, for vineyard space. It produces a substantial white wine that can be drunk young but that also ages beautifully. Characteristics: Hints of laurel on the nose, lots of extract with a nutty character. Where is it found?
