The Vinum range was introduced in 1986 and was the first machine-made series of glasses to be based exclusively on the characteristics of grape varieties. These are particularly high quality glasses and you will be amazed how significant the difference is to your drinking pleasure when the correct Riedel glass is combined with the correct wine.

Claus Riedel changed the world of wine with his revolutionary concept of functional wine glasses, recognising the importance of the shape of a wine glass when it comes to enhanced enjoyment of wine. Over 40 years ago, Riedel discovered that the same wine tasted very different out of different shaped glasses and George Riedel, Claus’ son, has developed the concept a great deal further in recent years.
