This Fuissé exhbitis great intensity and a richness of dry, hazelnut fruit on the palate. Drink 2008 to 2009.

Fuissé is the pinnacle of white Maconnais production. This Fuissé is very concentrated and ripe with delicate nutty flavours and overtones of acacia. 30% of the assemblage sees moderate oak-ageing, thereby acting as a support rather than a dominant factor.

Gilles Mathias has been running this immaculate estate since the mid-1990’s with the continued support of his father, Jean. We first started buying wines from Jean over fifteen years’ ago and we have seen this estate improve in quality ever since.
