Corbières Blanc - 2006 - Chateau de Tersac

This Corbières Blanc which is a 66% Vermentino and 33% Grenache Blanc blend which results in a wine with a powerful peachy/ apricot nose and a succulent yet balanced refreshing fruitiness.

Four years ago, this important estate was bought by our old friends from Pouilly-sur-Loire, Jean-Michel and Michèle Masson-Blondelet.

For the first couple of years, it took this dynamic family’s every last ounce of energy to get the vines properly cleaned-up and for a new winery to be installed. At the same time, they have had to run their large domaine in Pouilly, continually commuting between the two vineyards.

However, this enormous effort has been rewarded by numerous national awards and, when we visited this year, we were deeply impressed by both their red and white Corbières. Both their wines are at the summit of their Appellation.
