Seductive and irresistable with good age and a very good colour. Lots of black and red fruit on the nose with lots of fruit in the mouth with softening tannins and great complexity. Starting to drink really well but the 1995 has plenty of fuse.

The micro-climate at Mas de Daumas Gassac is a huge factor in creating the outstanding complexity and finesse of Daumas Gassac wines, most especially the splendidly fine balance of the great vintages’ alcohol-polyphenol-acid content.

Very attractive when drunk young but this is a wine that will age beautifully becoming more and more elegant as the years go by.

80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% from a collection of 10 other varieties.
