Dark but brilliant ruby in colour. Intense and complex nose with hints of oak and truffles. On the palate, round, fleshy black and red fruits persist, fantastic length and a very elegant finish.

The micro-climate at Mas de Daumas Gassac is a huge factor in creating the outstanding complexity and finesse of Daumas Gassac wines, most especially the splendidly fine balance of the great vintages’ alcohol-polyphenol-acid content.

Very attractive when drunk young but this is a wine that will age beautifully becoming more and more elegant as the years go by.

80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% from a collection of 10 other varieties.
