This blend of Carignan, Grenache and Syrah has a lovely velvet-soft blackcurrant fruitiness on the palate. It is medium-bodied and highly polished.

This wine is actually made at Château de Grézan (near the town of Laurens). This is a former commander's residence of the Templar Knights and is a very impressive castle which was remodeled in the 19th century. It is now a resting place halfway between the Mediterranean Sea and the Cévennes, in the heart of the vineyards of Faugères. Owned by Marie-France Lanson.
