Pibarnon's Bandol is one of those wines that can be drunk with much pleasure when it's young but that also matures into a totally different beast with a bit of age. Now it is really coming into its own with a morello and balckberry fruit being lifted on the nose by peonies, heliotrope, heavier truffle aromas and a touch of cinnamon. This is the result of old Mouvedre vines being grown in the chalky hills of the Bandol.
