A wonderfully pure Morey St Denis with lots of raspberry like fruit and soft, rounded tannis.

The Gros family have been making wine in the village of Vosne-Romanée since 1804 when Alfonse Gros planted a few vines. The current head of the family, Michel Gros inherited the vineyards from his father in 1995 and only 7 years later was awarded the title of Red Winemaker of the Year at the International Wine Challenge. He won it the following year too! He now has 18 hectares at his disposal as the Ecard family entrusted him to run their 3.5 hectares in Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges. His wines offer great purity and intensity of flavour, seducing the senses with their ripe flavours and silky texture.
