Beaune - 2004 - Domaine Pascal Bouley

A wonderful expression of Beaune; full of ripe strawberry fruit with just a hint of truffly game beginning to show through. There is very good acidity here too which, when married to the gradually softening tannins, will allow the wine to develop well over the medum term.

Pascal Bouley together with his wife Reyane are based in Volnay and own 10 hectares across Volnay, Pommard, Beaune and St. Romain. Their wines are aged for 18 months in barrel prior to bottling and they are true proponents of their terroir. The wines are solid, powerful and made to last. The domaine has been in the family for 5 generations and in 2005 they were joined by their son Pierrck.
