Complex and velvety with great length

Over the past decade, Henri Pradère has moved this 15 hectare property in to the first division of St. Julien Cru Bourgeois. Situated in the village of Beychevelle, the wines of this château always have a concentrated dark purple colour and the bouquet tends to exhibit tobacco and plums. These are very textured clarets with great amplitude of fruit, showing off the St. Julien terroir at its very best. The 2000 vintage is this property’s finest wine to date with an extra dimension of complexity and a particularly velvety texture and great length.
