Cru Bougeois Supérieur, Pauillac

The vineyard is situated on the famous plateau of Pauillac with its clay and limestone gravel soil whiere vines averaging 35 years old are planted over 25 hectares. Cabernet Sauvignon dominates (55%) with Merlot (35%) Petit Verdot (5%) and Cabernet Franc (5%).

The wines produced are always elegant, full of colour with a very savoury edge. The 1995 is starting to drink very well.
