Crus Bourgeois Supérieur (Moulis)

A really exotic Moulis that we felt was the best of an excellent bunch. A deep rich colour with a cassis and spice nose. Beautifully constructed wine with great purity of fruit and excellent balancing acidity. Great value claret. Drink 2007 to 2015.

Château Maucaillou is a wonderful architectural spectacle, being a blend of Renaissance and 19th century styles. The château also now houses a wine museum.
