This 1988 is classic mature claret evoking a heady bouquet of black fruits with cedarwood, spice and tobacco. Really at its peak so drink now.

Château Citran is a very large estate of 400 hectares of which 90 are vines. The château's moat dates back to the foundation of the original château in the 13th century. It is owned by the Touko-Haus company. The wines are characterised as full and powerful without being overly assertive. They exhibit great finesse.
